About the Doc
Dr. Emily Guy
Dr. Emily hails from New Jersey and loves all that Atlanta has to offer. She grew up dancing, and continues to find movement where she can including strolls on the Beltline, dance classes, and at-home wiggles.
Dr. Emily was introduced to chiropractic care at 13 years-old when she started performing and competing in dance. When she sustained her first injury early on in her dance career, Dr. Emily’s mother suggested she visit the local chiropractor. Curiosity grew while getting adjusted and healing, and thus the path towards chiropractic began. Before starting the chiropractic program, she received a B.S. in Exercise Science and in Dance Science at Elon University in North Carolina. Making her way further south, Dr. Emily graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA.
Throughout high school, college, and teaching in Thailand, Dr. Emily knew chiropractic was her calling for a career. She comes with a history and experience in multiple methods of adjustments, has attended a wide variety of seminars, and enjoyed serving on a women’s chiropractic mission trip in Mexico. She was introduced to Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) early in her education and uses the framework in every adjustment. BGI has given her the tools to listen more deeply to the body’s needs and how to honor them during the adjustment. Dr. Emily’s philosophy is that the body is perfectly made, and through chiropractic, she can help people become more adaptable and connected to their bodies, allowing them to continue to grow. She looks forward to meeting anyone interested in becoming a practice member!
“The art of chiropractic is much more than an application of a technique or an introduction of a force.
It is a melding of substance and being; of technical precision and heart centered connection.
In the moment of the adjustment, two become one; a synergistic flow begins toward growth and evolution.
The power and creativity of nature are unleashed, awakening us to the realization that the adjustment is alive and dynamically in motion."
